26 canciones componen 'Master Mix: Red Hot + Russell', el disco tributo al desaparecido compositor y chelista Arthur Russell, quien supuso una referencia en el ámbito experimental y que ahora tiene como homenaje un disco en el que han participado artistas de la talla de José González, Robyn, Hot Chip, Sufjan Stevens, Lonnie Holley, Liam Finn, Phosphorescent, Blood Orange o Scissor Sisters.
Yec Roc Records lanza este recopilatorio con el apoyo de la organización Red Hot.
